Fabric Salesperson Job Description

Mook Fabrics is seeking a skilled Fabric Salesperson to join our team. As a Fabric Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on fabric selection and usage
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions efficiently
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge
Work Environment:

The Fabric Salesperson will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers, colleagues, and suppliers on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
