Job Title: Fabric Sales Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Fabric Sales Associate to join our team at Mook Fabrics. As a Fabric Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the fabric department.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in the display and maintenance of merchandise, including folding, steaming, and restocking.
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the store.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and bend, crouch, or kneel as needed.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
