Accident Benefits Advisor Role

At Aviva, we're committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. As an Accident Benefits Advisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and equitable resolution of sophisticated Accident Benefit claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpret insurance contracts and resolve policy coverages in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  2. Handle Accident Benefits claims with authority, knowledge, and expertise.
  3. Acquire investigative reports, independent medical examinations, and statements from insureds and witnesses as required.
  4. Educate customers and providers about auto reform changes.
  5. Ensure all aspects of the claim process are handled optimally and within company guidelines.
  6. Assist in resolving claims issues related to legislation and settlement negotiations.
  7. Ensure service levels and quality standards are met by approved specialists.
  8. Educate insureds about the Premiere Healthcare network.
  9. Attend and participate in training and file clinic sessions.
Requirements:
  1. College Diploma or Associate Degree in a related field.
  2. 5+ years of Accident Benefits insurance claims handling experience.
  3. Large Loss experience is preferred.
  4. CIP or working towards CIP is required for licensing.
  5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  6. Ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  7. Good organization and computer skills.
