Nursing Department Coordinator

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a skilled and organized Nursing Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the daily scheduling of nursing staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate with the Director of Care to develop and implement scheduling policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff schedules, resident care plans, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with the coordination of resident appointments, transportation, and other activities.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, report preparation, and filing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Post-secondary certificate in business or office administration, or related field.
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of general office operations.
- Experience with scheduling software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
