Product Owner

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner to join our team at Finning. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product backlogs, working closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of product requirements and priorities
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features
  • Work with stakeholders to drive product strategy and roadmap
  • Ensure product backlogs are well-groomed and aligned with business objectives
  • Provide comprehensive documentation on product features and processes
  • Suggest operational improvements to development pipeline and implement best practices

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of equivalent experience in product management or a related field
  • Seasoned agile practitioner with experience in Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and product roadmap development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Feature Development and Support squads
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technology trends
  • SAFE framework and agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of UX and CX principles
