We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Naval Architect Engineer/Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of naval vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development of technical studies, drawings, and specifications
- Assist with report writing and equipment selection
- Work on systems integration projects
- Develop 3D models of ship equipment and compartment arrangements
- Quality Control of drawings
- Conduct engineering analysis, such as finite element analysis
- Participate in vessel surveys, lift-offs, and conduct ship visits
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Interest in Rhino or other 3D modeling software
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Must meet security requirements to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods
As a co-op student/intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and broad project exposure. You will be supported by your peers and have exposure to a wide variety of Government, Military, Commercial, Oil and Gas, and Industrial-based project work.
