About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead and collaborate with our team of Engineers and Technologists to support the selection, planning, design, and execution of construction, repair, or maintenance projects across the province. As a key member of our Technical Services group, you will work closely with our Asset Management, Construction, and Project partners to facilitate the development of corporate standards that will support decision-making and influence portfolio investment into the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide input to the Capital Planning process and assess existing infrastructure
  • Participate in the development of scopes for approved projects and provide Design services within the capacity of the team
  • Provide Design Review services of submittals from external service providers
  • Support the project team during the tender, award, execution, and close-out phases of the project
Qualifications and Experience
  • Licensed Professional Architect with the Nova Scotia Association of Architects (NSAA) or eligible for licensure through an association with a reciprocity agreement
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in architectural design and project management
  • Experience providing technical and design services at all stages of project planning and execution
  • Strong problem-solving competencies and superior communication skills
