Our portfolio now includes multi-family residential projects and commercial buildings of varying scales. We have broadened our services to include concrete foundations, prefabricated wall, floor, and stair supply and installation, as well as precision-cut floor systems.

Role Responsibilities
  • Interpret and prepare construction plans, with a strong understanding of multifamily and residential wood frame construction.
  • Design prefabricated wall systems by extracting necessary information from architectural and engineering plans.
  • Create wall layouts and production drawings utilizing MiTek's Supply software.
  • Compile documentation packages and generate detailed drawing sets for wall systems.
  • Review and verify wall panel design drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Draft technical reports specific to wall systems.
  • Coordinate designs and schedules with various departments and the fabrication shop.
  • Engage in communication with engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Prepare specifications, including cost and material estimates.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss the progress of ongoing projects.
Qualifications
  • Completion of secondary education.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in a design technologist role or a combination of relevant experience and college coursework in engineering design or a related field.
  • Experience with computer-assisted drafting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with MiTek Software is a plus.
  • Experience in wood construction and framing, particularly in mid-rise residential projects, is beneficial.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
