About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Maternity Care Professional. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to new mothers and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Two years' recent experience in a maternity setting with a labour and birth component
  • Current neonatal resuscitation certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
