Senior Public Sector Leader

About the Role
BDO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Sector Leader to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering high-quality services to public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively pursue business development opportunities, including building client relationships, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Engagement Team Leadership: Direct and manage high-performing, cross-functional teams to plan and deliver advisory services across various public sector projects.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and your broader network, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement.
- Thought Leadership: Lead the development of thought leadership articles to increase brand and service awareness.
- Strategic Vision: Foster a growth mindset, promoting innovative solutions and strategies to address client challenges and opportunities.
- Project Management: Oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high quality.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Review key deliverables to ensure they meet the highest standards and are aligned with client expectations and relevant guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience: You have demonstrated experience in business development, with a proven track record of leading sales in the public sector, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and securing new business.
- Education: You have completed a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Public Administration, IT, Finance, or Human Resources.
- Professional Designation: You have a relevant professional designation, such as PMP, PROSCI, CIA, CISA, or CA/CPA.
- Skills: You exhibit a growth mindset, continually seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement. You thrive in a collaborative organization and environment, and you display exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation skills for internal and external purposes.
