Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Consulting Partner within our professional services division, Kyndryl Consult, to lead transformative IT solutions for our clients. This role is pivotal in guiding organizations through their digital transformation journeys, minimizing risks, ensuring operational excellence, and consistently measuring and realizing their digital transformation objectives while addressing critical challenges. You will leverage Kyndryl's extensive global capabilities and the advanced technological expertise of our Global Practices, including Cloud, Mainframe, Networking and Edge, Data & Application, Security & Resilience, and Digital Workplace.
As a Consulting Partner, you will be an integral part of our rapidly expanding Consult business, leading multi-disciplinary teams on intricate consulting projects and being accountable for delivering value to Kyndryl's key accounts. You will engage with senior leaders both internally and externally in a dynamic environment, contributing to the world's largest mission-critical IT operations and infrastructure services.
This role emphasizes the Public Sector, particularly focusing on the Federal Government. Candidates located in the relevant regions are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, secure, and execute tailored client engagements that deliver valuable assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for technologies/platforms across our Kyndryl Consult portfolio to advance modernization initiatives.
- Required experience in the Federal government sector, including prior consulting or lobbying roles.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with key client stakeholders; develop a pipeline and originate deals with C-level executives; lead pursuit teams and contribute to proposal development and negotiation processes.
- Collaborate with existing account leadership to facilitate strategic account planning.
- Provide deep industry-centric, technical thought leadership, success narratives, and insights on IT modernization.
- Identify opportunities for expansion – utilize consulting entry points to drive larger transformational programs.

Who You Are
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in IT Consulting or IT Management Consulting with a regional or global consulting firm, demonstrating success in delivery and business development.
- Experience in the Public Sector (Federal Government) industry.
- Established history of integrating consulting, sales, and delivery; experience in delivering workshops, assessments, strategies, roadmaps, designs, and deployment plans.
- Proven ability to create and execute client transformation programs to drive strategies, optimization, and modernization.
- Demonstrated success in developing and expanding client relationships with an executive focus, with a proven ability to present strategic content and drive transformation across diverse stakeholders.
- Specialized industry knowledge (Public Sector-Federal) and depth in technology and IT trends, challenges, solutions, market dynamics, competition, and peer activities.
- Proven ability to shape large, complex, multi-competency deals across the Kyndryl Practices portfolio.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Experience in developing Statements of Work / Contracts, including negotiation and deal closure.
- Ability to develop business cases with return-on-investment analysis.
- Extensive experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) on large optimization, migration, and modernization projects.
- Understanding of modern engineering practices (e.g., agile, cloud-native, DevOps) and operations, with the ability to articulate a path toward a target operating model.
