About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team at Mattamy Homes Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial planning and analysis support to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business strategy and drive growth.
  • Lead the development of annual financial plans and budgets for our business segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  • Support the development of financial reporting and dashboarding to provide real-time visibility into business performance.
  • Coach and develop a team of financial analysts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Accounting/Finance designation (e.g. CPA, CFA, CBV).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with financial planning and forecasting tools such as OneStream or Hyperion.
  • Excellent financial modeling and planning skills, with a track record of continuous improvement.
  • Sound judgment, with the ability to critically analyze situations, problem-solve, and deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong customer focus, with excellent relationship building and a collaborative working style.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current Canadian accounting standards under ASPE.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
