About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team at Mattamy Homes Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial planning and analysis support to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business strategy and drive growth.
  • Lead the annual financial planning process, working closely with business leaders to develop and implement financial plans.
  • Design and implement financial reporting and dashboard solutions to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, finance teams, and external partners.
  • Coach and develop a team of financial analysts to support the delivery of financial planning and analysis services.
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CFA, CBV) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools, such as OneStream or Hyperion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
