Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering actionable insights to our Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams through comprehensive and complex financial analysis. This will involve overseeing and providing analytical support for weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and cross-functional business collaboration as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Deliver comprehensive and complex financial analysis to support business decision-making
    • Oversee and provide analytical support for weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
  • Financial Modeling and Scenario Planning
    • Construct sophisticated financial models and scenario plans to optimize results and mitigate risks
  • Business Collaboration and Communication
    • Prepare and present data, forward-looking trends, and insightful conclusions to senior management
    • Supervise the accuracy of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and forecasts
  • Process Improvement and Optimization
    • Develop and maintain Logistics finance dashboards that integrate real-time information into user-friendly displays
    • Create processes to streamline financial activities and KPIs across Logistics, Distribution Centers (DCs), and Financial Control groups
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Finance and Accounting, Business/Economics, Statistics)
    • At least five (5) years of professional experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including analysis of complex information and research skills with understanding of database design/manipulation concepts
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel), Power BI, Power Query, and SharePoint
