Job Title: Race Track Maintenance Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Race Track Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at Woodbine Entertainment Group.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our race track, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in good working condition. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities such as track maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Train or arrange for training of maintenance staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that a safe working environment is maintained.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to ensure that tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team.
