Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Day Camp and Climbing program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, including staff management, program development, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers in the delivery of Day Camp and Climbing programs
  • Develop and implement program plans, including curriculum and activities
  • Provide excellent customer service to program participants and their families
  • Manage program budgets and resources
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless program delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in youth programming and climbing instruction
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education, Physical Education, or related degree/diploma
  • Climbing Wall Instructor ACMG or CUI Level 1 or higher (an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with youth
  • Experience with day camps, supervising staff, and program development
  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Availability in evenings and weekends to meet community and branch needs
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certifications
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Three professional references
