About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Climbing Coach to lead our competitive climbing programs at Bolder Climbing Community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training plans, coordinating competitions, and mentoring athletes to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive training plans for our competitive climbing teams, ensuring athletes receive the best possible coaching and support.
  • Competition Coordination: Oversee the logistics of competitions, including scheduling, transportation, and accommodations for athletes and staff.
  • Athlete Development: Provide expert coaching and guidance to athletes, helping them to improve their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of coaches and support staff, ensuring a positive and productive team environment.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with athletes, parents, and staff, keeping them informed of program developments and progress.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in promoting our competitive climbing programs through social media, local climbing communities, and other marketing channels.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a climbing coach or in a related role.
  • Certifications: Current certification in CPR and First Aid, and a valid driver's license.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
