Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Service Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive exceptional service.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on restaurant operations, sales, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment, willing to relocate, and work under pressure.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
Work Conditions
  • Work Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
