Job Summary

Cherish at Central Park is a leading provider of exceptional senior living services, dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Accounting Professional to join our team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper, working weekends and occasional relief shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service as the welcoming face and voice of our business, greeting residents and guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
  • Manage accounts payable and basic bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize computer and accounting software, including SAGE50 and Excel, to maintain financial records and perform data entry tasks.
  • Organize schedules, file documents, and respond to emergency calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the onsite manager and other team members to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional service to residents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting or a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in front desk, administrative, or bookkeeping roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in SAGE50 and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
