Portway Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team in Stoney Creek.
This part-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to a thriving dental practice while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. While prior experience is preferred, we are committed to training the right candidate.
Responsibilities:- Manage patient appointments and scheduling efficiently.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process patient billing and payments accurately.
- Submit insurance claims promptly and precisely.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining patient records.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the front desk area, including opening and closing procedures.
The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Proficiency with dental software (Abeldent is an asset) and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
This position requires availability for two evenings per week (approximately 3-8pm) and weekends (Saturdays 10-5 and some Sundays).
