About the Role

MAGNOLIA DENTAL is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Order dental and office supplies to ensure a well-stocked and efficient work environment
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records
  • Prepare dental instruments and materials for procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
  • Assist with dental procedures, including taking X-rays and developing films
  • Record dental procedures and maintain accurate patient records
  • Invoice patients for services rendered
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting
