About the Role

MAGNOLIA DENTAL is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Prepare dental instruments and materials for procedures
  • Maintain and sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
  • Assist dentists with procedures, including taking X-rays and preparing dental impressions
  • Record dental procedures and maintain accurate patient records
  • Invoice patients for dental services and maintain accurate financial records
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting
