Eternal Tech Systems is seeking a skilled Database Development & Support-Database Administrator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical database infrastructure within a dynamic and challenging environment.

As a Database Developer & Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Oracle and MS SQL databases. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation and integrity of our data systems, supporting both internal applications and client-facing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer Oracle and MS SQL databases, including creation, deletion, maintenance, backup, and restoration procedures.
  • Provide technical support to application developers and other IT staff regarding database functionality and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with industry best practices.
Qualifications Mandatory Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Database Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with Oracle databases (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, OEM12c, OID 11g).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with MS SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 SP1, 2014).
Desired Qualifications
  • Oracle OCP or OCA certification and/or MS SQL Server Certified Professional.
  • Experience with AIX and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Idera SQL Diagnostic Manager, Lotus Notes, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c, Oracle OID, and Putty.
