Job Overview:

Eternal Tech Systems is seeking a highly skilled Database Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop database architectures to meet business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain Oracle and MS SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with application developers and other technical staff to resolve database-related issues.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database development and administration.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in Oracle database administration (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, OEM12c, OID 11g).
  • 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server database administration (2000, 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 SP1, 2014).
  • Strong knowledge of database design, development, and administration principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AIX, Linux operating system experience.
  • Idera SQL Diagnostic Manager certification.
  • Lotus Notes experience.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c certification.
  • Oracle OID experience.
  • Putty experience.
