Insurance claims specialists manage client interactions with empathy and professionalism. They conduct thorough investigations of home and auto insurance claims. Collaborating with fellow claims professionals, they ensure that the status of claims is accurately updated in our claims management system. These specialists handle increasingly complex claims and develop skills in related areas to enhance their versatility. Regardless of the weather, our claims specialists are always proactive. They manage all claims assigned to them from start to finish, with the opportunity to take on additional claims to boost their base salary and earn extra compensation.
PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE CONSULTANT

Consultants strive to deliver the best possible experience during significant life events, such as purchasing a home or vehicle. They evaluate each client's unique needs and assist them in selecting the appropriate coverage. Consultants provide and promote our tailored services. Our aim is to foster enduring business relationships and become our clients' top choice. At Desjardins, our insurance consultants are assessed based on objectives that prioritize people, allowing you to deliver quality service without sales pressure.
What we offer*
- A competitive hourly wage starting at $28.14/hr, with the potential for a $2,000 bilingualism bonus (salary adjusted based on insurance experience) and an annual bonus.
- 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year.

What you bring to the table
To be considered for one of these positions, you must:
- Hold a licence from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
- Have or be in the process of obtaining an ACS in property and casualty insurance or a DCS in financial services and insurance.
