- Valid registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) approved by Heart & Stroke, required upon hiring
- Recent experience in acute medical settings.
- Proficient RPN and assessment skills, including aseptic techniques, N/G tube insertion, suctioning, and airway management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A caring and compassionate approach towards patients and their families.
- Positive team player with a constructive attitude.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Physically capable of performing job duties, including heavy lifting and strenuous physical activity.
- A satisfactory record of employment and attendance.
The ideal candidate will excel in patient-centered care within a fast-paced and evolving environment, demonstrating readiness to promote change and innovation. Strong communication skills with a clear focus on patient needs, along with the ability to manage tasks and encourage teamwork, are essential.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Rotating shifts of 12 hours, Monday through Sunday; hours may vary based on operational needs.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage.
