Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Expert to join our team at Sleep Country Canada Inc. as an IT Security Analyst. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in cloud security, IT security, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Security: Ensure the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure, including Google Cloud and Azure.
  • IT Security: Develop and implement effective IT security strategies to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and resolve security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Security Awareness: Develop and implement security awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure that our security practices and procedures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, and facilitation of open discussions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud security, IT security, and infrastructure management.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and articulately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations and experience.
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills and ability to interface with a broad range of people and roles.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
