Parts Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Technician to join our team at Western Tractor Company Inc. As a key member of our Parts department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the right parts at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers at the parts counter by understanding their needs and efficiently locating the correct parts.
- Read and interpret parts diagnostics, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure precision in every order.
- Navigate computerized inventory systems and parts libraries to track down the perfect part.
- Follow up on special orders and keep customers informed as soon as their parts arrive.
- Help create and maintain eye-catching merchandising displays that showcase our parts and promotions.
- Actively promote dealership specials and merchandising campaigns, boosting sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure every customer feels valued and appreciated, creating a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
- Journeyperson Parts Technician designation or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within a Parts department.
- Previous John Deere agricultural equipment and product experience is an asset.
- Experience using online inventory systems and standard desktop applications, including Microsoft Office and other browser-based programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience connecting with customers while maintaining a professional image and establishing rapport.
- Strong time management skills, ability to be adaptable, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.
- Valid Driver's License.
