Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team at GreatWest Kenworth Lethbridge. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts for their Kenworth trucks, managing inventory, and supporting the service department with parts for open work orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct phone calls and emails with customers for order processing
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with parts estimates
- Refill displays to ensure pricing and inventory is up to date
- Fill orders for the service department in a timely manner for open work orders
- Pick parts for customers picking up in person or coordinate with the shipping department for customer delivery
- Work scheduled on-call shifts to provide parts for customers needed after hours
- Attend additional training as available
- Maintain personal and company equipment
- Communicate with teams when managing job duties and solving problems
Requirements
- Apprentice parts technician or journeyman parts technician
- Experience with heavy-duty truck parts and accessories
- Forklift experience
- Intermediate MS Office and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form
