About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at Fairfab Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our trucking operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our trucking operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring the movement of goods.
  • Train and Develop our drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and Maintain our fleet of trucks, including regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Ensure Compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including health and safety, transportation, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and Schedule activities with other departments, including sales, customer service, and logistics.
  • Recommend and Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry is an asset.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
