Objective:
The primary goal of this role is to cultivate and sustain a tailored Sales and Spare Parts strategy, oversee customer relations, and manage all facets of sales, market expansion, technical assistance, and revenue growth for GIW products and Service Center offerings associated with designated clients. This position aims to enhance company sales, profitability, and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze customer maintenance strategies and identify potential synergies with GIW offerings.
2. Formulate customer-centric sales strategies and objectives aligned with corporate goals.
3. Establish and nurture inter-company relationships.
4. Coordinate company processes and teams to improve customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
5. Drive sales growth with existing clients and develop new customer relationships within the market segment.
6. Collaborate with team members on customer development, including joint visits and technical consultations.
7. Maintain a structured call schedule to ensure consistent customer engagement.
8. Organize regular review meetings with key clients.
9. Negotiate preferred or exclusive supply agreements.
10. Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or issues.
11. Provide technical support to customer reliability engineers and GIW engineering teams to troubleshoot and recommend solutions for existing and new applications.
12. Offer recommendations to enhance maintenance and operational procedures at customer sites, including the preparation of technical documentation and investigation reports related to application improvements.
13. Assist the Business Development Manager in crafting strategies, objectives, and tactics beneficial to the region and GIW, including sales forecasts for assigned clients.
14. Identify and initiate technological advancements to differentiate GIW offerings.
15. Be available for customer emergencies outside of regular hours.
16. Support the technical training and development of GIW Sales Engineers and technical personnel.
17. Adhere to company policies, rules, and procedures.
18. Perform field support during pump overhauls or failure inspections.
Qualifications:
1. Strong mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret drawing layouts and parts sheets.
2. In-depth knowledge of pumping systems and customer applications.
3. Proven track record in strategy execution.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
6. Ability to achieve results through teamwork.
7. Strong relationship-building skills.
8. Organized, patient, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
9. Committed to information sharing and growth.
10. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven.
Education:
Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience. Commercial experience with technical equipment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Primarily desk-based duties.
Travel Requirements:
This role necessitates frequent customer visits to maintain strong working relationships, with a minimum of three site visits per week.
