Job Summary

Tulloch Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform pre-engineering inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Develop and review technical deliverables, including reports, technical notes, drawings, and engineering calculations.
  3. Prepare plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applications for various engineering projects.
  4. Conduct stormwater management, drainage and hydrology, wastewater conveyance, potable water distribution, earthworks, transportation, cost estimating, and other supporting areas.
  5. Prepare Site Plans, including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans.
  6. Work with on-site sewage disposal systems and private water supplies.
  7. Undertake preliminary and final linear infrastructure, road, and street design.
  8. Subdivision development – draft plans of subdivision, site servicing, grading, drainage, and subdivision agreements.
  9. Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  10. Assist with project management and construction administration.
  11. Liaise with clients, build client relations, and advance business development.
Requirements
  1. You have a license or are a Civil Engineering Intern working towards one.
  2. You exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives.
  3. You can pivot and alter approach to accomplish desired results.
  4. You are trusted and provided freedom to work independently but also contribute to the overall team success.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. You have a university degree in Civil Engineering or a related program.
  2. You have high motivation with a results-oriented focus.
  3. You have superior organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  4. You have strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  5. You have excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  6. You have unwavering commitment to health & safety in the workplace.
  7. You have proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  8. You have a valid Class G driver's license.
