Position Summary
The IT Systems Specialist focusing on Windows-Active Directory is tasked with overseeing the Active Directory framework. Collaborating closely with the IT department, this role aims to enhance and tailor systems, execute system modifications, and troubleshoot issues. Responsibilities include updates for Windows servers and workstations, as well as managing users, groups, DNS, DHCP, GPO, among others.

Role Description
The IT Systems Specialist is responsible for configuring and securing information systems, technological infrastructures, and telecommunication networks.

This role encompasses database management tasks and entails the implementation and maintenance of intricate technological components at local, regional, or provincial levels.

Acting as a subject matter expert, they provide support to IT technicians facing highly specialized challenges, assist in project implementation strategies, and coordinate IT activities.


Key Responsibilities

The IT Systems Specialist contributes to integration, harmonization, and deployment initiatives at CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches, supporting IT applications under the DRI's oversight.

Key responsibilities include conceptualizing and defining technological requirements, executing proposed architectures, generating technical documentation, serving as a resource, optimizing infrastructure efforts and expenditures, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, supporting expert groups, assessing customer needs and satisfaction, collaborating on proposals, providing 24/7 support, and other related duties.
