Role Responsibilities

As a Food Safety Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients in the hospitality and grocery sectors uphold brand standards and ensure food quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting evaluations to assess compliance with established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards.
  • Monitoring food preparation and cooking practices to ensure adherence to safety, health, and sanitation protocols.
  • Collaborating with clients to identify the root causes of any discrepancies and formulating corrective action plans.
  • Providing training and guidance to clients on creating a safer and healthier work environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to obtain a CP-FS certification.
  • A flexible work schedule, allowing you to balance personal commitments.
  • A readiness to travel by car and/or plane frequently.
  • The physical capability to lift up to 10 lbs, along with the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • A keen attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • The capability to influence others positively and provide constructive feedback.
  • A self-motivated approach to work.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Preferred technical knowledge in food safety, with ServSafe and/or CP-FS certifications being advantageous.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Compensation and Benefits

The budgeted salary for this position ranges from $40,000 to $44,000 annually. Rentokil Initial offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
