Job Summary

The Floor Manager is a key member of the store team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a leader, you will be responsible for the performance of a department, leading a team of Sales Advisors to achieve excellent standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with a high level of service, through styling advice, product knowledge, and store experience.
  • Analyze sales data and work with the store manager to maximize sales performance in your department.
  • Lead a team of sales assistants to achieve excellent standards of service, including training and development.
  • Support recruitment and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new starters.
  • Identify future talent and develop plans to support their progression.
  • Oversee store operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
  • Represent the COS brand and provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Assist the store manager in their absence, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of management experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop a team.
  • Customer-focused and self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest in others and a willingness to learn about and sell our products.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercial acumen and a passion for fashion and retail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and evenings when required.
