About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at DHAYOR AFRICAN STORE INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to determine consumer demand, sales trends, and competitor activity, and use this information to inform business decisions.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff members to provide feedback and coaching, and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, customer service, and loss prevention.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.

  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Own transportation.
