About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at DHAYOR AFRICAN STORE INC. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of our retail store, ensuring that we provide an exceptional customer experience and achieve our sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Manage store budgets, monitor sales and expenses, and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that the store is secure and safe for customers and staff, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Working Conditions
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Own transportation.
