Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide harm reduction focused, mental health and addiction services to clients across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide culturally appropriate assessment, treatment, case management, crisis intervention, education, and referral services for opioid dependent clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacies, labs, emergency departments, physicians, and existing addiction and mental health services to find solutions and resources to support individuals with an opioid dependency.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress via telehealth and telephone.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
