AutoCanada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Finance Director to lead our financial operations.

As the Automotive Finance Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive profitability and ensure compliance with industry regulations. You will manage all aspects of dealership finance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and team leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans to maximize dealership performance.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial performance and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and vendors.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements governing automotive finance.
  • Guide the financing process for customers, securing approvals, negotiating terms, and finalizing transactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in automotive finance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve financial targets and drive profitability.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
