About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Hi-Flyer Food (Canada) Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and increase sales.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective restaurant management.
Supervision
  • Supervise a team of 16-20 people in various areas of responsibility.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Hold a Safe Food Handling certificate.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Experience with electronic cash registers.
  • Skilled in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems and spreadsheets.
Security and Safety
  • Hold a basic security clearance.
  • Undergo a criminal record check.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Manage a large workload with flexibility and adaptability.
