Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a physically demanding role.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
