At Days Inn Chetwynd, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team. Your primary duties will include supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. You will also be responsible for addressing customer complaints or concerns, establishing work schedules, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
* Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures

* Establish work schedules

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
