Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial performance and overall management of banquet services, including thorough reviews of event setups and assignments.
  • Deliver exceptional service quality by focusing on staff training, performance enhancement, and effective leadership.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through strategic scheduling and supervision of team members.
  • Manage payroll and labor cost analysis.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee ordering processes, and ensure compliance with operational log requirements.
  • Promote and market banquet services effectively.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic plans for banquet operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize food and beverage service delivery.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of banquet staff and participate in departmental meetings.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a comparable food and beverage role within banquet services.
  • Hospitality or restaurant management certification is advantageous.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and innovative.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on employee development.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure setting.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary certifications related to food safety and service.
  • Ability to pass required background checks as mandated by regulatory bodies.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service through effective communication.
