Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Title Officer to join our team. As a Title Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, managing title discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with corporate and lender policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service to clients through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Manage title discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely resolution.
- Apply corporate and lender policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and issue Commitment to Insure (CTI) documents within corporate policies and guidelines.
- Request and review payout statements from financial institutions, calculating penalties and payout amounts due.
- Action Lender Reports as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of a law clerk/legal admin program or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 months experience with the end-to-end real estate transaction cycle.
- Exceptional phone manner and strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and prioritize issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of basic mathematical principles.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in protecting confidential information.
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office and Outlook.
