Job Summary:
Vail Resorts is seeking a dedicated and experienced Ski School Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Ski and Ride School. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating an exceptional guest experience while ensuring the highest level of service and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily instruction, curriculum development, and scheduling to ensure seamless delivery of ski and ride lessons.
- Assist with administrative duties, including hiring, training, payroll, and equipment management.
- Monitor and document instructor performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance their skills.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other management teams and departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Participate in leadership forums to provide feedback and input on school operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Current PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification required.
- 1-3 years of ski/snowboard instructor experience and 1 year of supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Able to meet the physical demands of ski and ride training and drills.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
Compensation:
The expected pay range for this position is $52,000 - $67,442. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
