About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. in a Whey Production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain packaging and production equipment to ensure efficient and effective production of whey powder and dairy blend powders.
  • Receive and process raw materials, including whey and permeate, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in shipping and loading of blended dairy products, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere to Best Operating Procedures to ensure the highest quality product possible, maintaining accurate records and inventory entries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of whey packaging equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, adhering to Health and Safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Support and maintain DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.'s quality standards, ensuring efficient and effective use of equipment and material resources.
Requirements
  • Experience in a dairy or food manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Forklift license is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team orientation, with a self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including software programs such as Microsoft Office, with SAP experience an asset.
