We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and bulk format finishing/packaging of cheese in accordance with established standards and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Operate all production equipment as per standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality product possible.
- Responsible for receiving of raw materials such as incoming milk, UF Milk, cream, secondary culture, and whey.
- Record all required data and inventory entries with a high level of accuracy.
- Understand the disassembly & assembly of cheese production equipment.
- Assist in the manufacturing process and cleaning process as required.
- Ensure that safe conditions exist always within the work environment; will take appropriate action to protect the health and safety of employees and comply with all requirements as stated in the Health and Safety policy.
- Full participation in the HACCP program and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ensure the efficient and effective use of equipment and material resource.
- Must demonstrate teamwork, co-operation, responsibility, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative, and work well with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work various shifts, weekends, and work overtime as required.
- Demonstrate ability to use computer software and programs.
- Proficiency and dependability in current position.
