About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team at Paul McIntyre Physiotherapist Corp. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Administer evaluative tests to assess patients' physical abilities and develop effective treatment plans.
    • Examine patients to identify areas of concern and make informed decisions on tests and procedures.
    • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Confer with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and share knowledge and best practices.
    • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports to track patient progress and inform treatment decisions.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
    • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and membership in relevant professional associations.
  • Work Experience and Skills
    • Experience in sports therapy, pre and post-natal care, orthopedics, and manipulative therapy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Security and Safety
    • Criminal record check and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
