**Job Summary**

Island Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the University of Victoria Student Wellness. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide collaborative and multidisciplinary care to post-secondary students.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide primary care services to students, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including clinical counselors, psychologists, registered nurses, and spiritual care providers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for students.
  • Conduct health education and promotion activities to support students' physical and mental health.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.

**Requirements**

  • Experience in family medicine or primary care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • EMR experience with Accuro (QHR) is an asset.
