We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Island Health. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a walk-in family practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in family medicine.
- Work effectively in a team environment to provide seamless patient care.
Work Environment:
Our walk-in family practice is located in a state-of-the-art medical facility, equipped with the latest technology and equipment. You will have access to a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and other specialists.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of British Columbia.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
